Run from the Norm - Episode 3: Sid Sullivan on leading with purpose, running 75,000 lifetime miles, and living in service of others by giving back to the community.
Raised just outside of Eugene, Oregon, otherwise known as Track Town, USA, Sid went from a high school JV runner to a walk on at the University of Oregon where he found his speed and ultimately a new perspective on what it means to โwinโ while working under legendary coach and Tokyo Olympic bronze medalist, Bill Dellinger. ๐บ๐ธ
He took this philosophy from the track and transitioned it into a very successful professional career that ultimately led to an early retirement, giving Sid and his wife the fortunate opportunity to continue a life of service through the multiple philanthropic efforts they partner with, all while Sid continued to accumulate over 75,000 lifetime running miles!! ๐โโ๏ธ ๐ฎ
Please enjoy this conversation with my good friend and mentor, Sid Sullivan.
